Pilot Accomplishments

At Lanier Flight Center we recognize that our pilots are the heart of the business. It is with great pride that we join in celebrating their accomplishments and we wish a hearty congratulations to each of our pilots who have completed milestones in their training.

Darrell Rochester - Instrument Rating

Darrell Rochester, who recently completed his Private Pilot certificate with us, just completed his instrument rating too! Darrell is a highly motivated and very hard working student who has been a pleasure to work with. Aviation runs in his family, his brother Brian did his multi-engine training in our Piper Seminole. Their family company operates several aircraft and rely on aviation for their business.

Motivated Students, Motivated Instructors

Bill Shuford worked with Darrell Rochester over the course of about 8 months to complete his private pilot certificate, instrument rating and transition training to high-performance/complex aircraft. Much of Darrell's training for the instrument rating consisted of cross-country flights in his Piper Saratoga. We're sure this will give Darrell the confidence he needs to fly himself wherever he wants to go.

We've been very impressed with Darrell and look forward to having him back for his multi-engine training soon.
