Pilot Accomplishments

At Lanier Flight Center we recognize that our pilots are the heart of the business. It is with great pride that we join in celebrating their accomplishments and we wish a hearty congratulations to each of our pilots who have completed milestones in their training.

Don Hall - Private Pilot, Multi Engine

Don Hall joined us here at Lanier Flight Center for some recurrent training, having earned his Private Pilot certificate several years ago. The expression he used to describe his goals was, 'let's sharpen the axe'. Being about a 500 hour pilot and looking for a new experience in airplanes and a way to hone his airmanship skills, Don took on multi-engine training. Over a couple of months, Bill Shuford worked with Don to 'sharpen the axe' and to develop all of the skill and knowledge required for the multi-engine rating.

On June 4, Don passed his multi-engine checkride and may now enjoy the privelege of making twice as much noise when he flys. We expect to see him regularly, maintaining those multi-engine skills in our Seminole.
