Pilot Accomplishments

At Lanier Flight Center we recognize that our pilots are the heart of the business. It is with great pride that we join in celebrating their accomplishments and we wish a hearty congratulations to each of our pilots who have completed milestones in their training.

John Corry - Certificated Flight Instructor

John Corry passed the CFI practical exam and has joined the instructor staff at Lanier Flight Center. During the last 2 years, John trained toward this certificate and is extremely relieved to have finally accomplished this important milestone.

John trained for his instructor certificate on the job as a manager at Lanier Flight Center, under the guidance and supervision of Troy Wheeler, who personally endorsed him for the checkride.

In his own words: "I am a flight instructor because I want to achieve absolute mastery of airmanship and share the incredible freedom and achievement of flight with as many others as possible. I'm not in this to 'build time', but to completely explore the theory and practice of flight and learn as much as I possbily can. I am committed to providing the very best instruction possible and to serving my clients with professionalism and respect. It is my goal to turn out extremely well trained pilots who are accomplished, safe and prudent airmen."
