Multi Engine Rating
Ready for an even bigger challenge? Go for your Multi-Engine Rating in our 1978 Piper Seminole that presents the perfect blend of proper training craft at a reasonable price. A Multi–Engine Land (MEL) rating allows a pilot to operate as pilot-in-command of an aircraft with more than one engine. Multi–Engine rated pilots will experience the remarkable improvement in aircraft performance capability along with an increase in speed, power, and rate of climb.

According to FAR 61.63(c), there is no minimum time requirement to add a multi-engine rating to your pilot certificate under Part 61, and you don’t have to take a new FAA written test! After 10-15 hours of flight training, your multi-engine instructor can sign you off to take the FAA practical test. For many people, a multi-engine add-on can be accomplished over just a 5 days. Whether you are a private pilot or commercial pilot, a Multi-Engine add-on rating will provide you with added confidence and experience necessary to become a better pilot!
